Kira Habyb Abud
Kira Habyb Abud has a degree in Art from the University of Brasília in Neuropsychology and Psychoanalysis. She is of Turkish descent and feels fulfilled through art, by uniting and spreading cultures.
She is the author of the anti-stress therapy book ‘Arabesk’ published by the Biblioteca 24 Hours in 2016, and the children's book ‘A school love - a story to color’, classified in the illustrated book category of the João de Barro Prize (2015 edition).
She dedicates herself to drawing, painting and hand lettering and has specialised in the study and practice of Turkish-Brazilian art in its various manifestations: porcelain painting, ceramic modeling and painting, mandalas, canvases in embroidery, wall painting, murals and the innovative technique of watercraft personalisation.
Her last exhibitions in Brazil in 2018 took place before the Masonic community of Porto Seguro - Bahia, on the occasion of the closing celebrations of the year. She also participated in the Exhibition of Arts to the Wind, held at the Yacht Club of Brasilia. Part of her work is in permanent exhibition at the Virtual Gallery of Art.
